Holly completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary nursing in 2012 and is currently studying her Diploma in Veterinary Nursing. Holly has recently come on board with PETstock VET in Altona as their new Practice Manager. Holly has a passion for reptiles and birds and has many weird yet wonderful animals herself at home that keep her busy. In her spare time she loves to foster injured and orphaned wildlife with Wildlife Victoria and volunteer at Werribee Open Range Zoo. She is always happy to have a chat and to help with any questions you may have.

Dr Kate is our senior vet and a partner of the practice. Prior to starting with PETstock VET, Kate worked for 15 years as a partner of Altona Veterinary Clinic and prior to this she worked and travelled overseas. Kate is a keen surgeon and has completed a post graduate course in surgery. She has an interest in all aspects of small animal surgery especially stifle (knee) surgery. Kate has 2 sons - Nick who has just started high school (yikes!!) and Will who is in grade 3 and who almost always has a smile on his face. Thankfully she loves sport of all kinds as this has become her life bringing up 2 boys! Kate plays netball and tennis regularly and runs to keep fit. She also loves skiing, music and the beach. Kate has a boxer called “Sachi” who is now 9 but still keeps her company on her runs-even if she is going a little grey and wants to do more sniffing and less running these days (Sachi, not Kate)!!

Lucy graduated from university of Melbourne and started working at Altona PETstock VET Clinic in 2014. Prior to this she worked in country Darwin. She has also completed an architectural studies Degree at the University of Melbourne. Lucy has a keen interest in surgery.

At home, Lucy is a proud mum to Panpan, a very spoilt German Shepherd!

Fiona graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from the University of Queensland in 2004. She enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery, and loves to see puppies and kittens grow into happy and healthy dogs and cats, and to help them with all their healthcare needs along the way. Outside of work Fiona enjoys gardening, yoga and walking her dog Henry along the beach.

Rachel joined the PETstock family in September 2016 as a small animal veterinarian. She graduated in 2013 from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and a Bachelor of Animal Science and has worked as an emergency vet and a small animal vet in the years since her graduation. She has special interests in surgery and exotic animals. Rachel is currently also studying for her Masters in Conservation Medicine and works casually as an emergency vet at the Centre for Animal Referral and Emergency. When not working or studying she enjoys reading, singing in choir and playing music. Her favourite domestic animal is the British Shorthair cat.

Lucy joined the PETstock family in January 2017 as our Head Nurse. She completed her Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2012 and has worked in various small animal practices in WA. Lucy came to Australia from Scotland eight years ago, due to a desire for warmer weather and amazing animals. She spent in three months working in Thailand where she obtained her beautiful dog Lucy (she was already called Lucy before our Lucy got her!). Lucy enjoys nothing more than going to the dog beach with her dogs and playing chasey at home with her cat, Poppet, who is the smallest Bengal you will ever meet.

Originally from New Zealand, Amy lives in Melbourne with her husband Dan. Amy has a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and has been working in the industry for 10 years. Amy is a horse lover and regularly competes in Horse Shows.

Lauren started working with PETstock VET in May 2015 as a trainee. Lauren has recently graduated and received her certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Lauren has two kelpies, Rosie and Biddy. Lauren spends most of her time on her families property with all her other animals which include chickens, sheep and rabbits.
