She has spent the past 35 years working in both country and city practices attending to the care and treatment of all kinds of patients including farm animals, pets and wildlife.

Most of the past 20 years have been spent caring for pets which she loves and continues to do. At the moment Cathy has a very naughty pug called Eedee and an aviary full of Finches at home.

Maddie grew up in India and spent her summer holidays camping and exploring the South Indian tropical forest ripe with native animals. Having graduated from Murdoch University in 2010, she has pursued a successful career in small animal medicine and surgery in Mandurah and Perth’s southern suburbs. Her special interests are in fields of small animal surgery and small animal acupuncture. Maddie has a majestic black cat named Leo who most certainly believes he is the king of the household!

Vanessa grew up in rural UK, nurturing a love of all creatures great and small (except snakes that is). After emigrating to Australia, she graduated from Murdoch University in 1986, and since then has worked in small animal practice, predominantly in Perth’s northern suburbs. She is part-time carer of Bridie, a very exuberant Dalmatian, and Dennis, an aloof cat who from time to time graces her with his presence.

Nicole graduated as a veterinary nurse in 2005, and since has done nursing all around New Zealand, in 2011 Nicole crossed the ditch to work in beautiful Perth and has not left, Nicole has a special interest in business management and animal nutrition. Melinda graduated from her Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing in December 2015. Melinda grew up on a property on the mid North Coast of New South Wales, where she developed her love for animals. She would help to care for the horses, cows, sheep, ducks, Sammy her teacup poodle, Cuddles the rabbit and Rodney the guinea pig. Now Melinda has a beagle named Abby and a cat named Katniss that she adopted through the vet clinic. Abby and Katniss love to get up to mischief together!

Ashlyn moved from freezing Scotland to sunny Australia in 2011 and has never looked back! Pursuing her dreams of caring for animals she studied vet nursing at AVT, graduating in 2013. She has 2 furbabies of her own- a beautiful puppy dog called Tonks and a black cat called Morag.

Rebecca grew up in NSW around animals and always had a keen interest in animal welfare. After moving to Perth when she was 12 and completing a Bachelor of Science degree at University, she decided that her passion lied with working with animals. Graduating from her Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing in 2016, Rebecca hopes to one day continue her studies into working with Zoo animals and conserving the environment. Rebecca owns a rescue dog called Jaffa who is a Red Cloud Kelpie x Staffy and a Siberian Forest cat called Sasha.
