Born and raised in Melbourne, I graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2010. After graduating, I completed an internship in surgery, medicine and oncology at one of Melbourne’s leading specialist centres. In the years following my internship, I worked at several small animal practices in metropolitan Melbourne, utilising the skills I had acquired in specialist practice for the benefit of my patients.

Although I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine, I am particularly interested in oncology (cancer treatment), soft tissue surgery and ultrasonography. I have two three-legged cats (Sergei and Cici) and was also voted “the funniest student” of the class of 2010, which I consider my greatest achievement!

Melody gained her qualification as a Veterinary Nurse in 1997 and decided to travel to the UK for 6 months to gain experience. She returned to Australia 15 years later with a pug, a cat and twin boys.

She started as a locum nurse which allowed her to travel around the country and to see the world. It wasn’t long before she moved into Head Nursing roles which naturally progressed into Practice Management.

Melody soon realised that although she loved nursing her real passion was in Management and Team Leadership with the added bonus of seeing cute fur babies each day.

When not chasing after her twins around Melody loves, dancing, socialising and eating out (when she has time).

Giulia was born and raised in Milan, Italy and had always dreamed of being a veterinarian. She received her veterinary degree in 2013 and completed a six-month internship before moving to Australia. Giulia joined the PETstock VET team as a veterinary nurse in 2015 and has since obtained her Australian Veterinary License and has begun working as a Veterinary surgeon.

Giulia enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery and loves creating long lasting relationships with her clients and their pets.

Outside of work Giulia spends her time with her partner and their 2 year old Bull Arab, Zeke.

Sarah is a trainee Veterinary Nurse who has always been extremely passionate about the care of animals and can’t wait to endure her career in the Veterinary industry for many years to come. Sarah is currently undertaking her Veterinary Nursing qualifications at Melbourne Polytechnic, concluding in 2016. Sarah loves to work with small animals but is intrigued by any creature that inhabits this earth, whether it be big, small, scaly or furry. Sarah lives with her turtle “Jerry Seinfeld” and is looking forward to getting another dog friend very soon!
