Dr Emily completed a Bachelor of Science degree in animal biology at the University of Guelph, before travelling across the world to complete her veterinary degree. She graduated from the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2016 at University of Melbourne and joined our team fresh out the gate. Her interests include surgery, emergency medicine, and all things feline.

Emily is originally from Toronto, Canada and grew up with a plethora of household animals including dogs, cats, turtles, mice, hamsters and fishes. She currently shares her home with a cheeky orange kitty named Stevie that loves a good smooch from everyone – and sometimes will join her at the clinic with his harness on greeting clients or hanging out with the foster kittens.

Dr Julia has been a vet for over 17 years. She has specialized in rehabilitation on foals and holds a degree in Animal Chiropractic. She loves all animals, large and small!

Ruth completed her Bachelor of Veterinary Science at University of Queensland in 2003 and commenced her career working with small animals and dairy cattle at a practice near Ipswich, QLD. After two years, Ruth moved to the UK and worked for 18 months at a number of small animal practices. Upon her return, Ruth has since worked in Brisbane and Ballarat.

In 2016 Ruth moved to Anglesea with her husband and two young children who keep her so busy that she unfortunately does not currently own any pets. Instead, Ruth gets her animal fix whilst working part time with us here at PETstock Vet Waurn Ponds. Ruth Particularly enjoys dentistry and soft tissue surgery.

Dani is a fully qualified vet nurse who comes to us with almost 5 years’ experience in both general practice and emergency & critical care nursing. She shares her home with two cats, Charlie the ginger fireball and Theodore, the cat with attitude.

Stacey is a fully qualified vet nurse who comes to us with almost 4 years' experience in general practice. Stacey has a keen interest in large dogs. She shares her home with her husband, 3 children, two cats and 2 (soon to be 3) dogs. Pinocchio the cuddly tabby, Ninja the elusive black short hair, Wally the therapy dog whippet, Atlas the majestic Tibetan Mastiff and soon to be puppy Tibetan Mastiff. There is also a Finnish Lapphund, Hugo, who visits regularly.

Stacey enjoys her hobby of showing her Tibetan mastiff's, as well as helping friends show their Dogue De Bordeaux's, Newfoundlands, Chow Chows and Finnish Lapphunds. She also has the joy of puppies in her home from time to time.
